Living in the ‘SHADOWS’

The root meaning of the word anxiety is ‘to vex or trouble’; in either presence or absence of psychological stress, anxiety can create feelings of fear, worry, uneasiness, and dread. It is also associated with feelings of restlessness, fatigue, concentration problems, and muscle tension.”

The fear of making mistakes,  the fear of failing, the fear of not performing, fear of making a fool of yourself and/or fear of not reaching a goal are all reasons to start feeling anxious…

We are all familiar with those shadows… Those shadows which prevent us from living bravely.

We are creating our own boundries around us which keep us away from feeling real too. We keep our emotions as secret as we keep our thoughts. We may also loose our self-confidence and our motivation through actions.

Anxiety can be seen in many moment in our life such as work, school and even in our love affairs which we should not be afraid to taste.

But why?

All these worries fears and pain aren’t worth living; because we don’t have so much time to waste.

We should be free to act and to decide with no shackles.

If you feel that is real for you just do it: you can’t make a mistake on your feelings.

If you believe in yourself, you will see that you will not fail. It can take time to improve, but it won’t be a waste of time trying harder. This will be just an experiment.

You are not fool, so you just can’t making  fool of yourself at the end; you can simply call it ‘experience’.

And finally, the idea of reaching  a goal means a long way of concentration and hard working so the failure in any goal can be acceptable.

DO NOT BE AFRAID TO TRY AND NEVER GIVE UP ON YOURSELF!

PMS..Pre Monday Syndrome (Sunday)

 “Monday?! But I wasn’t done with my weekend!!”

First day of the week, of the school, of the work,…

But the drama begins on Sunday afternoon, approximately at 4pm 🙂

Agenda begins to scream with responsabilities and appointments that we have to remember for whole week!

And we loose our left hours and joy by an unneccessary anxiety and fear, and even with a bleeding aggressive attitude toward people around us.

Do they help us?

Absolutely nothing can change the facts.

So we need to find a way for self-motivation and relaxation.

And I am not talking about any medication here.

Acceptance and forgiveness are the key words for an easier life…

We can’t change the time, we are not even closer to stop it too. So we need to accept the fact that the time will continue against our wishes, but it is in our hands to make it valuable and priceless by living our days noticing their uniqueness. We do not have any useless or meaningless day in our life time. There is no chance to restart a lost day. So we need to shape our feelings and thoughts to be able to live and feel what we have.

Let me introduce you ‘SUNDAY’ :

Day of the Sun

The name of the first day of the week, is derived from Egyptian astrology. The seven planets, known to us as Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, the Sun, Venus, Mercury, and the Moon, each had an hour of the day assigned to them, and the planet which was regent during the first hour of any day of the week gave its name to that day. During the first and second century the week of seven days was introduced into Rome from Egypt, and the Roman names of the planets were given to each successive day. The Teutonic nations seem to have adopted the week as a division of time from the Romans, but they changed the Roman names into those of corresponding Teutonic deities. Hence the dies Solis became Sunday. Sunday was the first day of the week according to the Jewish method of reckoning, but for Christians it began to take the place of the Jewish Sabbath in Apostolic times as the day set apart for the public and solemn worship of God.

These and similar indications show that during the first three centuries practice and tradition had consecrated the Sunday to the public worship of God by the hearing of the Mass and the resting from work.

To sum up, we can easily understand that Sunday is the ultimate chance for a peaceful mind and soul both religiously and socially. It’s a day to rest and to enjoy. It’s a chance to think and to analyze our past six days. It’s a day to dream and to pray for next six days. It is not related to our inner dead ends…

Do not be afraid of Monday, because as you have read in my previous paragraph :

Sunday is already the first day of the week, and as it is a holiday, you can see it as orientation for the rest 😉
