“TO RISE WITH THE LARK”

not-an-early-riser

To get up early is so beautiful when it is not an obligation…

To rise early not out of necessity, but as a habit, and accepting this as the most important start of life, to give shape to the days accordingly…

If one loves to start a day,

One will feel the beauty of being alive unexceptionally and trustingly…

Human beings are actually encoded in an archaic system from those days when one left his cave with the sun rise. This coding is still active. More importantly, for all those people who complian for not having enough time to accomplish things, to rise early is the definitive solution. “Early” meaning TO RISE WITH THE LARK.

Nothing is more “human” than coming into action with the first rays of the sun.

One feels the state of belonging to the nature and grasps this belonging so clearly!

I advise all those people who falsely think themselves incapable of waking up in a vigorous state, that they should readjust their movements to the “sundial”. This means returning home when the sun is setting, sleeping accompanied by the stars and becoming aware of the quilt not as a warm escapade but as a heavy cover…

Although the present habit has become to start the day with an alarm clock, leaving this imprisonment, this authority of time over us, and returning to the archaic rhythm of cohabitation of humans with nature is my dream. Just like what I am experiencing lately…

Because human beings have been taught to memorize everything within structures, I feel that these structures have become our own burdens.

When the alarm rings and its awful sound disturb one’s peace, the meaning of waking up to a new beginning is changed.

I propose that we should not be at peace with the alarm clock, set it right and wake up under its command.

I suggest and I offer the sunny radiance of not having a clock.  If not on the first morning, surely on the next days, waking with the rhythm of the nature without any alarm clock buzzing its way through the ears and into the brain will be welcome by your inner self; it will become a new pleasure in your life, rebelling against the resistant and tough fixity of imprisonment that life has forced you and enjoying a flexibility, a freedom however tiny it may seem at first!

SHARE HAPPINESS AND LOVE THAT YOU HAVE INSIDE

tumblr_mfehprnANV1rs9omco1_500No matter how far away we fall from our dreams,

God gives us another day with a full brightening landscape for our souls, just to make sure that we are going to try again.

..and again..and again…

There will be no limit to try for our goals in order to find our happiness.

We are the only creatures knowing the meaning of it. We are the ones who can describe it even with the many different vocabulary but still using happiness as a life adaptor.

Happiness is a connection between a soul and the life of its. It’s something more necessary than other cliches.

Because we all know that ‘staying alive’ will not be enough to ‘feel alive’.

Many people coming from many different backgrounds; wll still defend their own happy moments in ordar to describe how they feel in a new stituation whilw meeting each other.

It can look like a pschological experiment but it is true that when you are unconfortable in a position; you will automaticly remember your happy memories to survive there.

happinessIMAGEEven that coffe in the morning or your breakfast with your family will be rapidly becoming your last precious moments in your life with no background stiories that you had too tho.

In any moment that you feel unconfortable within, your brain will collobarate in the same path remindering you how happy you were before.

radioactive happiness face faces

Happiness is a mental or emotional state of well being characterized by positive or pleasant emotions ranging fromcontentment to intense joy.

A variety ofbiological, psychological, religious and philosophical approaches have striven to define happiness and identify its sources.

Various research groups, including positive psychology,

endeavor to apply the scientific method to answer questions about what “happiness” is, and how it might be attained.

Philosophers and religious thinkers often define happiness in terms of living a good life, or flourishing,

rather than simply as an emotion. Happiness in this sense was used to translate the Greek Eudaimonia,

and is still used in virtue ethics.

Happiness economics suggests that measures of public happiness

should be used to supplement more traditional economic measures when evaluating the success of public policy.

Even though there are many scientific explanations about happiness itself;

we should be just aware of its being a God-given gift,

and it is also about appreciating ‘good’ moments that we have in your lives…

love-happiness-girl-heart-valentines-1920x1200We have so much love we have in our souls. We need to share it as much as we can too.

Remember when you step by a street worker, saying him just a little ‘Hi!…

You would be able to see him happier then that one minute ago.

This is simply ‘HAPPINESS’…

WHICH I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT JUST LOVE AFFAIRS AND SUCH.

I’M TALKIN ABOUT LOVING YOUR “CO-LIVER”, THAT YOU DONT EVEN KNOW MANY OF THEM PERSONALLY…

I’M TALKIN ABOUT SHARING HAPPINESS WITHOUT WAITING A BAD TIME COMES TO MAKE YOU REMEMBER HOW HAPPY YOU WERE BEFORE…

6418B36294E4419DAAFEC15E6F03BC57.ashxTODAY CAN BE THAT DAY YOU REALIZE AND YOU FEEL HOW HAPPY YOU ARE;

AND HOW MUCH HAPPINES YOU HAVE INSIDE

AND YOU ARE ABLE TO SHARE WITH ALL PEOPLE AROUND.

Just like an angel comes and shows…

Bacuse we all know that motivation makes life easier;

Motivations direct and energize behavior, while emotions provide the affective component to motivation, positive or negative.

In the early 1970s, Paul Ekman and colleagues began a line of research that suggests that many emotions are universal.

He found evidence that humans share at least five basic emotions: fear, sadness, HAPPINESS, anger, and disgust.

Social emotions evidently evolved to motivate social behaviors that were adaptive in the EEA.

For example, spite seems to work against the individual but it can establish an individual’s reputation as someone to be feared.

Shame and pride can motivate behaviors that help one maintain one’s standing in a community, and self-esteem is one’s estimate of one’s status.

IF YOU HAD KNOWN ME…

If you had known me you would have remained silent when I was screaming

If at first you would not understand or even fear, then you would certainly come near

You would reach out to embrace me but then burn in my cold

Then maybe you would listen or maybe you would reproach

Still you would wish to hear

But I did not know myself what to say what to show

Sometimes mornings do not bring the sun and sometimes the nights do not darken in my life

My feelings contradicting each other, my heart stops in silence

You would not understand and you would be afraid…

Sometimes you would rejoice at having known me

Sometimes you would cry for not having yet understood

Feeling me near you when I was not there

Catching my absence when I was indeed there

You did not wish to move back and pushed the time instead ahead

Then seeing my captivity in my errors

You would also question life

Did you understand, probably not

Did you feel, probably yes

If you ask me if I would be sure

I would tell you that nothing in life is reflected from its definition

The expressions which you have brought up

would sometimes remain in the shade and be cold

or would sometimes be left under the sun and fade, I would say.

Neither would you rest against me and find comfort

Nor would I trust you and find love

PLAYGROUNDS vs PLAYSTATIONS

537438_323960261042394_1551233087_n

I remember those years that we didn’t have cellphones, computers, playstations and so on…

The years that we were more innocent and aware of the world “nature” we live in.

TECHNOLOGY was simplier in those years, and it was based on our real needs… Each decade gave us other forms of technology which the main purpose was communication…

The human species’ use of technology began with the conversion of natural resources into simple tools. The prehistorical discovery of the ability of control fire increased the available sources of food and the invention of the wheel helped humans in travelling in and controlling their environment. Recent technological developments, including the printing press, the telephone and the Internet, have lessened physical barriers to communication and allowed humans to interact freely on a global scale.

The late cultural critic Neil Postman distinguished tool-using societies from technological societies and, finally, what he called “technopolies,” that is, societies that are dominated by the ideology of technological and scientific progress, to the exclusion or harm of other cultural practices, values and world-views.

The implementation of technology influences the value of a society by changing expectations and realities.

The implementation of technology is also influenced by values.

1- Viewing the universe as a collection of parts, (like a machine), that can be individually analyzed and understood. This is a form of reductionism that is rare nowadays. However, the “neo-mechanistic world view” holds that nothing in the universe cannot be understood by the human intellect. Also, while all things are greater than the sum of their parts (e.g., even if we consider nothing more than the information involved in their combination), in principle, even this excess must eventually be understood by human intelligence. That is, no DIVINE or VITAL principle or essence is involved.

2- EFFICIENCY : A value, originally applied only to machines, but now applied to all aspects of society, so that each element is expected to attain a higher and higher percentage of its maximal possible performance, output, or ability.

3- SOCIAL PROGRESS: The belief that there is such a thing as social progress, and that, in the main, it is beneficent. Before the Industrial Revolution, and the subsequent explosion of technology, almost all societies believed in a cyclical theory of social movement and, indeed, of all history and the universe. This was, obviously, based on the cyclicity of the seasons, and an agricultural economy’s and society’s strong ties to that cyclicity. Since much of the world is closer to their agricultural roots, they are still much more amenable to cyclicity than progress in history.

Technology provides an understanding, and an appreciation for the world around us.

Most modern technological processes produce unwanted byproducts in addition to the desired products, which is known as industrial waste and pollution.

While most material waste is re-used in the industrial process, many forms are released into the environment, with negative environmental side effects, such as pollution and lack of sustainability. Different social and political systems establish different balances between the value they place on additional goods versus the disvalues of waste products and pollution.

Some technologies are designed specifically with the environment in mind, but most are designed first for economic or ergonomic effects. Historically, the value of a clean environment and more efficient productive processes has been the result of an increase in the wealth of society, because once people are able to provide for their basic needs, they are able to focus on less-tangible goods such as clean air and water.

Humanity at the moment may be compared to a colony of bacteria in a Petri dish with a constant food supply: with no way to remove the wastes of their metabolism, the bacteria eventually poison themselves.

I MISS THE DAYS WHEN CHILDREN WERE PLAYING OUTSIDE THEIR HOME, SCREAMING TO THEIR MOTHERS BEGGING FOR 10 MORE MINUTES…

I MISS THE DAYS WHEN TREES WERE TALLER THAN OUR APARTMENTS; I MISS THE TREES ACTUALLY…

I MISS CHILDRENS GAMES IN THE GARDENS INSTEAD OF PLAYSTATIONS OR COMPUTER BASED ISOLATIONS.

THE JOY OF RUNNING, WALKING AND REAL HUMAN COMMUNICATION…

I MISS UNIQUE NORMS AND VALUES THAT ALL SOCITIES HAD ONCE.

SEEING AND TALKING EACHOTHER; THE DEFINITION OF LOVE AND RESPECT.

CHILDREN AND FAMILIES…

“Welcome…”

If we know to stay silent as long as necessary, we can hear the music of nature.
Living within the fence of the city for a long time, I had difficulty to grasp the meaning of these words.
It required going to the seaside or to flee into the forest to escape the noise of Istanbul , to cleanse myself from the running crowds, to be myself.
Then one day quite suddenly or may be having processed it step by step, I found myself considering journeying.
I do not mean to tour my environment to explore historical monuments or capturing the pictures of those things based on our culture.
I mean a journey which might have been simply defined as a return to the nature but basically a journey evoked by dense feelings, feelings of a deep nostalgia.
I understood the impossibility of feeling the peace of the wind, of the sun by strolling on the city streets.
Just as rain and snow can not be enjoyed walking on the earth under an umbrella and I  could experience and love them when I was among the trees…
My trip to the Abant Lake brought back to me that feeling of belonging, an inborn trait that we all possess.
This specific tree became the symbol of my re-incarnation.

Kusursuz Sessizlik
